Volunteers!

Volunteers are an essential part of the success of our Penguin summer team. Every family on the team is asked to volunteer, in some way, to ensure that the burden/responsibility does not fall to only a few. We understand that everyone has busy schedules and limited time, but there are many job opportunities and they all must be filled. Please consider the various Volunteer Job Descriptions and help as often as possible to ensure your child has a fun & positive swim team experience.

Myron C. Lynch Award

Myron C. Lynch was a dedicated member of the Penguin family who tirelessly volunteered, over many years, countless hours to the Burke Centre Swim Club, Colonial Swim League, and to the sport of swimming. In his honor, an individual or individuals from each team, is honored each year with the Myron C. Lynch award for demonstrating significant contributions to the total outcome of the success of the swim program.

Honorees names will appear on an award plaque, displayed at the Commons pool, to demonstrate the history of the caliber of volunteers that we have been so blessed to be a part of the Penguin family.
